O navio segue rumo a Nova York onde será inaugurado, tendo a sua viagem inaugural marcada para 31 de Março. Este navio tal como o seu irmão "Disney Dream", foi construído nos estaleiros Meyer Weft, Papenburg, Alemanha, tendo sido lançado à água a 8 de Janeiro do corrente ano.
